I spent a year as an intern at the Museum of Flight (Seattle, WA) working on exhibits for their new Charles Simonyi Space Gallery building. The Museum of Flight built the building to house NASA’s retired Full Fuselage Trainer – one of the Space Shuttle trainers. We had a whole building to fill! I worked primarily with Geoff Nunn to develop, research, and write exhibit content. I was responsible for writing and editing large portions of the “orbital labs” section of the exhibit, and portions of the temporary exhibit panels (above).
Exhibits in the Space Gallery are still in the process of being fabricated and installed.
